Privacy & usage.

Your account and practice

Accounts use your email and, if you provide it, your preferred name. Your saved passages, collections, practice results, reading preferences, unfinished exercises, and reflections are stored to provide the academy and sync your progress. Guest practice is stored in your browser. Account information is hosted with Supabase; account emails are delivered through Resend. Hosting is provided by Vercel. Authorized technical administrators can access systems to operate and support the service.

Private voice recordings

When you choose Record myself, your browser requests microphone access. New takes remain on the page for preview until you press Save recording or Replace saved recording. Saved audio is stored privately in Supabase Storage and can be accessed through your signed-in account. It is not shared with other members or included in owner usage reports. Authorized technical administrators manage the underlying storage. You can delete saved audio from the passage recording controls. Replacing a recording keeps only the latest take. Navigating away discards unsaved previews.

Overall usage statistics

We collect combined counts of visits, feature opens, active time, practice starts and completions, flashcard activity, audio play requests, and passages added from the Bible. These statistics help improve the academy. Usage uploads do not include your name, email, account ID, Scripture wording or choices, reflections, recordings, page query strings, or a persistent visitor ID. Reports contain daily totals, not individual activity histories.

A visit is an approximate visit within one browser tab, not a unique person. Active time is estimated while the academy tab is visible and focused, and pauses after 60 seconds without interaction. Usage measurement starts with this release. We retain daily totals for up to one year; random IDs used to prevent duplicate uploads are removed after up to three days during collection. Hosting and database providers may separately process technical request information, including IP addresses, in their operational and security logs. Our aggregate reports do not include those logs.

Your usage preference

We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by disabling optional measurement. Changing this setting affects this browser and future uploads. Previously combined anonymous totals cannot be linked back to you for individual removal. Account saving works independently of this preference.

Access and help

You can download your saved account progress from Account. For account access, correction, or deletion assistance, contact The Way Bible Academy through the ministry channel where you received your academy invitation. We do not use this usage dashboard to send marketing messages or display advertising.
